Hints on using the system

In normal use, the scanner is packed and transported to the recording location and between different buildings in a protective case. On site, the system is set up by mounting the scanner on the tripod provided. The tripod must be stable and set up almost vertically on a solid surface. All locks on the tripod legs must be tightened by hand. The scanner is transported within the building in its assembled state. To make it easier to access doors, stairs or narrow corridors, the tripod legs can be swiveled towards the middle to save space. If that is not enough, additional leg segments can be inserted. HottScan HS-1 is positioned so that all interesting information is visible from the scanner.

After all scans in a building have been completed, the scanner is packed into the transport case.
