Charging Stations

Charging Stations

As an additional power consumer it is possible to add one or more charging stations.

In order to represent one or more specific cars, for example the cars of the residents in an apartment building, they should be added as cards for E-cars that can be defined more precisely there. The charging stations described here are intended for situations where "external" cars are also charged, such as cars of employees or customers.

The first field can be used to name the charging station.

Count sets the amount of how many charging stations are available.

The total charging power is calculated by multiplying the charging capacity per charging station and the number of charging stations.

total charging power = a • b
where
a = charging capacity per charging station in kW
b = number of charging stations

The total power demand is calculated from the total charging power and the specified charging period multiplied by 365 days. It is assumed that the power is distributed evenly over all specified hours.

total power demand = a • b • c • d
where
a = 365 days
b = specified charging period in hours
c = charging power per charging station in kW
d = number of charging stations
