Demand profiles
A usage profile defines how the building is used. Via the button e.g. "Single-family house"
the appropriate profile can be selected. Predefined profiles and your own profiles that you have created are available in a selection list. If you have selected a predefined or user-defined (cross-project) profile for the building, all profile values are already preset. If necessary, however, they can be adjusted.
The usage profile includes the profile areas:
Warm drinking water
The hot water consumption is preset by the selected usage profile. The hot water consumption per person is given here in litres/day (at 60 °C). The number of persons in the respective building must also be recorded.
The daily profile shows the percentage per hour, measured on the daily consumption. Therefore, the sum of the daily consumption over all 24 hours should equal 100%.
The degree of occupancy of the daily profile determines the heat output. If the consumption is evenly distributed throughout the day, then less heating power is required for hot water.
Electricity consumption
Here you can create a power profile for the plant, i.e. you can define which power requirement, independent of the power generation, is assigned to the project. If no power profile is defined (power consumption = 0 kWh/year), the plant will be calculated without consideration of the own demand. If a power profile is defined here, the simulation calculates what percentage of the profile (demand, consumption, load) can be covered by the plant. The consideration of the electricity profile is important for the economic analysis. An electricity profile defines for every hour of a year (8760 hours) the electricity demand or consumption within the project. The electricity profiles are broken down into daily profiles (24 hours).
This means that theoretically the annual profile is broken down into 365 daily profiles. However, since it is not possible to define 365 day profiles, the day profiles are combined into series. A series thus combines the days of the year to which the same day profile (24 hour values) is assigned.
Enter the assumed power consumption of one day directly
or use the assistant to enter existing installations and devices.
Systems and devices with standard consumption values are stored in a list. The daily consumption is then made up of the total sum of the individual consumers.
