Yearly results

As an alternative to the time diagrams, the annual results for the selected building element can be displayed. The energy consumption by heating, cooling, appliances and lighting is summed up and also shown per floor area.

The maximum heating and cooling loads are the largest loads that occur in the building element, while the design heating/cooling loads refer to the time (month, day and time) when the heating or cooling load for the entire building is highest. Therefore the maximum loads are generally greater than the design loads.

The indicated latent part of the cooling load refers to the same point in time, so it is not the largest latent cooling load ever occurring. It should be noted that if the system capacity is limited, it is assumed that a central system is used, which can supply the rooms as required. The operating hours indicate how long the heating or cooling runs.
The energy balance indicates how the yearly heat inflow and outflow are made up.

For rooms, the excess/under temperatures are displayed. The maximum temperature overrun/undercut is the largest deviation of the operative temperature when people are present.

The degree hours are the sum of the hourly deviations of the operative temperature from the setpoint band, counting only hours when people are present. It should be noted that heating and cooling are controlled by air temperature, so deviations in perceived temperature will occur even when setpoints are maintained.

The excess/under temperature hours are the number of hours that the air temperature exceeds or falls below the set point. The hours of occupancy are the number of hours per year that people are in the room.

Zones, floors and the building have no temperatures of their own and therefore no over- and undertemperatures. Instead, the distribution of loads to the contained rooms is displayed. The desired load can be selected. Internal heat sources are people, equipment and lighting. For ventilation and transmission the sum of inflow and outflow is used.

The calculation results for the design days (when the heating or cooling load is highest) and the yearly results can be printed and saved. The maximum values of the rooms are shown there in the view "Room Peak Values" with the corresponding time. This function is available in the menu item "File" under "Print" and "Project report".
