Here you can select one or more inverters, which are checked in the design for a possible connection to the selected module. The inverter-catalog should be filtered first. For this purpose the corresponding filters must be activated and then executed using the button "apply filter".
Explanations about the filters:
- Nominal AC power - An interval around the nominal power of the PV system.
- Mounting place - There are different mounting possibilities of the inverters:
- Indoor installation - basement and places under the attic allow dry indoor installation with reduced protection requirements.
- Outdoor Installation - The inverter must be suitable for installation on the attic or outside the building. In addition, check that the ambient temperature is not too high, that there is sufficient protection from direct sunlight, and that no driving rain falls on the device.
- Inverter with/without transformer - Transformerless inverters work in higher voltage ranges than inverters with transformers. These inverters are mostly smaller and normally have a higher efficiency. As the voltage has to be adapted to the grid level, inverters with integrated transformers are often used.
From the "inverter-catalogue" one or more inverters can be added or removed to the "chosen inverters". This is done using the buttons with the arrow keys. The functions are available:
- Add all inverters of the manufacturer to the project.
- Add the selected inverter to the project.
- Delete the selected inverters from the project (if an interconnection already exists, all used inverters are not deleted)
- Delete all inverters from the project (if an interconnection already exists, all used inverters are not deleted)
The selected inverters are displayed in a list. If the mouse is moved over a selected inverter, the corresponding parameters of the inverter are shown in an information window.
