This page provides an overview of the existing entries in the project. It is independent of the calculation results and serves as a check before the simulation.

Location and climate data

First, the location and climate data are combined. The temperature profile in the simulated year results in average, lowest and highest outdoor temperatures. Global radiation on the horizontal plane is the annual sum of solar radiation (direct and diffuse) on an unshaded horizontal plane.

Building data

For the building data, the area and volume of the rooms are summed (inner floor area and air volume). The total volume is the total building volume transferred from CAD (without floor slab) or the sum of air volume and volume of the components in a non-CAD project.

The part surface is the outer surface for outer parts and the inner surface for inner parts; this surface is also used for volume calculations. The enveloping surface is divided into windows and doors, attic, outer walls and building components bordering on the ground. The transmission heat loss is calculated from the outer surface and the U-value of the building components. The average U-value of an exterior building component group is the transmission heat loss per surface.

Usage data

The usage data of each zone is also displayed in this overview. The floor space is the sum of the room areas. For the average number of persons, ventilation and heat emission by lighting and devices, the usage profiles are averaged or summed over the year. If the lighting is switched on automatically according to the number of persons and daylight, the value results only from the simulation (annual results - heat inflow from lighting). The value for the whole building is the sum of the zone values, only the ventilation is averaged weighted according to the room volume.
