Laser warning
The laser class 2 laser used in the HottScan HS-1 has a red laser beam in the visible range. This laser only causes damage to the eye after an exposure time of 1000 seconds. A short exposure time is not dangerous for the eyeshuman eye. Under normal circumstances, the eyelid closure reflex protects the eye during radiation. Since the eyelid closure reflex is not guaranteed under all circumstances and for all people, we recommend that you never look into the laser. The laser beam emerges from the upper opening of the pan and tilt head and points in the direction of the vertical of the front panel. The laser is only switched on briefly, during the standstill phase. Always look in a different direction to that of the laser beam. Also watch out for mirrors or other highly reflective surfaces. You are optimally safe if you leave the room during the scan.
